I met my second husband
through my best friend. He is her husband's brother, a few months
after I split from my ex-husband. We have had problems from both
sides, mine and his. I have two daughters, one is eleven the other ten
years old, who live with us. My husband also has two daughters, one
is fifteen, the other is nine, who live with their mother. Only
recently my husband has had access to his youngest daughter after not
seeing her for five months and having to fight in court, costing us a
substantial amount of money in the process.
I hoped things would work
out, but because his girls have never had any discipline, due to the fact
my husband worked away a lot and his ex would dump them on anyone who
would have them so she could go out and see other men behind his back,
they don't like being told what to do. We no longer see the older
daughter, since after taking her in after her mother threw her out, she
decided to throw a party at our home while we were away for the weekend,
tipping the place upside down and having items stolen from us. She
decided she didn't want to face the consequences and ran off back to her
mother.
The ex-wife left with the
two children last June after my husband came home early from work and
caught her in bed with another man, and stayed with her sister. She and
her sister ended up having a fight and she decided to move back to the
former marital home, demanding she be let back in and hoping that she
could get back with my husband. She was covered in bruises from the fight
and hoped that this would make my husband feel sorry for her. It didn't
work.
My husband said he would
move out for two weeks until her new house was ready, and would call back
daily to get a change of clothes and see his girls. She asked him why they
couldn't get back together and guessed he had met someone else. She went
ballistic! On the Monday after, my husband was approached by a bailiff at
his mums home, to serve him with an injunction, to stop him entering the
former matrimonial home (which only he was paying the mortgage for), his
ex-wife had been to court and said that the bruises on her body were from
him assaulting her. We now know that she did this because he was seeing
me.
She was there for six weeks
and when she left she took everything, even down to the screws in the
walls! Over time he has had to replace everything. Now a few months on she
has forced him to sell the former matrimonial home, (which she has NEVER
paid towards), and which myself and my two girls were living at after we
got married, leaving us homeless. She is going for 75% of the equity, a
percentage of future earnings AND wants half of what I have possess!!!!
The court case is in two weeks, and we have proof of all the lies she has
told to get her own way, so hopefully it might go in our favour.
