My husband left his first
wife nearly six and a half years ago now. We had been friends for about a
year before started seeing each other and there was definitely a mutual
attraction there. I had been married before (with no children) but was
single at the time.
He left at Christmas which
is not really a good time but he did. He left her with their 10 year old
son. He left because she could not stop drinking. She binged every night
and became abusive then the final straw was when a large group of us went
out for a friend's birthday. She started flirting and kissing a young lad
in our group in front of all of us. My husband was obviously embarrassed
and humiliated. The following day they went to his parents house, she was
dressed in a Mrs Santa outfit complete with stockings and suspenders
(during the day), she got completely drunk and passed out on the sofa in
front of their son and niece who was only 8 at the time. Two days later he
left her.
We got together on
Millennium New Year's Eve and have been together ever since. In March 2001
she attacked her son when he got home from school one day. She was drunk
and dressed in stockings and suspenders and a fur coat. He tried to
telephone his dad to come and collect him so he could have tea at our
house, she grabbed the phone off him and bashed him over the head with it.
We heard the screams down the phone and he went to investigate him. They
were living in his matrimonial home at the time, we were living in a
rented house. He had tried to get a divorce but she would not sign the
papers!
His son then came to live
with us as he did not want to live with his mum any longer. We knew there
was more to it so after a few months of investigation it transpired she
had left her job as a carer and started advertising herself as an 'escort'
in a magazine. The neighbours at their old house reported men 'coming and
going' at the house all day. We confronted her about this, she denied
anything was going on but my husbands sister found out she had her own
website, there she was in full graphic detail; pictures, rates per hour,
etc, services offered.
My heart went out to their
son, he has been through so much, so we were extra cautious and protective
with him.
One year later and the
divorce was complete. We bought a house in 2003 and we had a son. When she
found out about our baby she started phoning and texting me saying he has
been phoning her and seeing her on the quiet. When she turned 40 she
started texting again saying she wants to see her ex husband, every time
she gets drunk (nearly every weekend) we get phone calls and texts from
her.
We got married two months
ago but did not tell her. She recently found out and on her last meeting
with her son, she went through his mobile phone to get his dad's number
out. He started getting strange phone calls and found out that his number
had been put in a personal ad. Nearly seven years on and she still won't
let us be!
